hi!! my name is vinícius, but in the web I'm known as vinizinho.

welcome to my website! this is my little ~corner of the web~, where I aim to post my creative output. this includes blog posts, games, computing projects, random pages, and much more. honestly I do not know what I am doing, but I hope it is interesting, weird, diverse, mysterious.

these are some of the themes I've explored so far:

• digital preservation of CD-ROMs;
• tools and visualizations for topics in computer science;
• analytical posts about mystery and exploration in games;
• thoughts about attention in the modern world;
• silly jokes with the occasional hoax.

as you might have noticed, I am brazilian. this means that most of the website is going to be in portuguese, and there's no easy way to handle that. I considered making my entire website in english, but I simply cannot do it. my mother language is portuguese and writing in english feels somewhat wrong, even though I can manage it. for this reason, I will translate the main pages and more "approachable" stuff into english, but the core will remain in portuguese.
